With the holiday just around the corner, Santa Claus is expected to make a couple stops in Haliburton County.
Santa makes his first highlands appearanceĀ in the Haliburton parade happening Friday starting at 6:30pm. After that, the bearded gift giver is expected in Minden for their parade the next day. That parade starts at 11:30am.
Good old Saint Nick is expected to be back in the area December 9th for the parade in Wilberforce. The Wilberforce parade starts at 12:30pm.Ā Organizers say afterwards you can go to the Lloyd Watson Centre where children under 10 can register to get a gift and picture with Santa.
During the parades there is no parking on along the parade route. Haliburton’s parade starts on Pine Avenue and runs down Highland Street. The Minden Parade runs through downtown alongĀ Bobycaygeon Road. In Highlands you will not be able to park along Loop Road the day of the parade.
