UPDATE: The repairs to the water leak at the townsite has been completed according to Stuart Hurd.
If you live in Cardiff, you need to be conserving water.
The municipality of Highlands East is asking Cardiff residents to limit their water usage while they repair a “significant” leak at the Cardiff Townsite.
Highlands East staff say that the repairs are going on today, but add there is no estimated completion time. Staff say the municipality’s Environmental Supervisor Stuart Hurd is on site overseeing the repairs.
Workers say the reason for conserving is to prevent a drop in pressure and to ensure that you have some water if the repairs take longer than today.
