Freezing rain could develop in the Haliburton area this afternoon and evening.
- Haliburton – Minden – Southern Haliburton County
- Oxtongue Lake – Fort Irwin – Northern Haliburton County
Environment Canada is reporting that portions of Central and Eastern Ontario could get freezing rain before temperatures rise above the freezing mark.
However in areas such as the Haliburton Highlands those temperatures could stay below freezing through the overnight hours.
Although any possible freezing rain will be light and patchy, a warning for slippery conditions is in place.
