Algonquin Highlands residents that use the public fill up to get their water will have to wait.
The township announced that the water fill up stations at the municipal office and the Stanhope Airport is going to be closed for just under 24 hours this week.
According to the township, the fill-up stations are closed from 3:00pm on Thursday to 5:00pm on Friday.
The purpose of closing off those taps, the municipality says is for routine maintenance to the water systems. Any concerns or questions can be directed to the township.
