The Township of Minden Hills is looking to fill three positions with the municipality.
Staff with Minden Hills are trying to fill their ranks by hiring a part-time Community Services person, and a temporary full-time Roads Department employee. Aside from those, the town is also hiring volunteer firefighters.
The Community Services department is responsible for the maintenance of parks, cemeteries and facilities says the township. Minden staff say the position is expected to only be a five-month appointment, ending on April, 30th. The deadline for applying is December 13th at noon.
According to the township, anyone that works for the town’s Roads Department will be involved in construction, snow and ice removal, maintaining and repairing service roads, bridges, and culverts. To apply for this job, the township says you will need your resume in by December 6th, at noon.
The last position the town is hiring for is with the Fire Department. Minden Hills is hiring volunteer firefighters for a minimum 12-month contract. There is no deadline for that application period.
