The Ontario Council of Hospital Unions is looking for support from Haliburton County residents. Dorothy Winterburn is a personal support worker in Minden and was a part of the report about long term care facilities in Ontario. She says the province needs to do more to address care and staffing needs. A public meeting tonight will be held at the Haliburton arena at 6:30 pm to learn more about the report and how the public can support their initiatives.
