Minden resident facing several charges following a R.I.D.E stop

A Minden resident is facing several charges following a R.I.D.E. check in Peterborough.

While conducting a check on Curve Lake Road, O.P.P. officers stopped a vehicle around 11:00pm last night.

After an investigation, the O.P.P. charged 37-year-old Sean Peter Martin with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine,  two counts possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking morphine, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking Percocet, two counts of knowing there was a restricted weapon in the vehicle and possession of proceeds obtained through crime under $5,000.

Martin is due in a Peterborough court, January 17th.

Also charged was a 27-year-old from Trent Hills, they face the same charges.
