Keith Hirstwood is scheduled for a bail hearing by video on October 23.
A publication ban has been slapped on the case, preventing the release of any details on the trial proceedings. Moose FM will be providing dates and court progressions as they become available.
On September 11, 2014 in a news release, Haliburton Highlands OPP said Hirstwood was charged with two counts of the following:
- Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
- Sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
- luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication
