The school board is making sure students and staff are well-read with the use of an app.

Staff and students of the Trillium Lakelands District School Board are getting the chance to get some reading done outside of the schools.

According to the board, an app called OverDrive gives users thousands of E-books to read on their smartphone or tablet. The board explains the app is downloaded you can log in and select a book to read or listen to simply by clicking borrow.

TLDSB says the app allows users to adjust the font size, contrast, brightness and more with visual reading. For audiobooks, users can adjust the playback speed to speed it up or slow it down depending on the individual needs.
