Cost for the Pan Am Games are starting to add up and Minden Hills has applied for funding to help. The torch relay event is meant to highlight Canadian Heritage, so plans for activities that show the history of Minden are in the works. An application to the Community Celebration Fund could cover 5 thousand dollars. The torch relay is happening in June 2015.
