Two people are facing charges in connection to impaired driving in Trent Lakes.
On Saturday, Peterborough County O.P.P. stopped a vehicle and after investigation officers charged a 40-year-old from Trent Lakes with the operation of a motor vehicle while impaired, and driving without a license. The accused had their car impounded for seven days and an automatic 90-day license suspension.
The following day, officers charged a 38-year-old from Scarborough with driving while impaired, the operation of a vehicle with 80mgs or more of alcohol in their bloodstream, blood alcohol content above zero for a novice driver, and speeding.
