Haliburton Highlands Secondary School announces exam contingency plans

With exams coming up, the high school is reminding students that snow won’t cancel them.

The Haliburton Highlands Secondary School announced today that exams will still happen even if the inclement weather makes a snow day. According to the school, if the weather is bad enough on any day during the exam week, which falls January 25th, to 31st, the school will simply postpone the exam for that day.

The schools says anytime the exam has to get postponed, it will be moved forward by a day. If a snow day does occur, the school says they will be posting it to their Twitter page.

For VLC students, the school says they should be contacting [email protected] to get their exams rescheduled.

This notice comes in the wake of freezing rain and other inclement weather causing TLDSB to cancel all buses.
