Minden resident facing weapon and drug charges back in court next month

Sean Peter Martin is heading back to court in February.

Martin, who was initially charged in December, will be back in the Peterborough courthouse on February 14th. MyHaliburtonNow.com spoke with the courthouse who say the next appearance is for the 34-year-old to be spoken to.

Martin was charged with a number of things including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine,  two counts possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking morphine, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking Percocet, two counts of knowing there was a restricted weapon in the vehicle and possession of proceeds obtained through crime under $5,000.

He was travelling on Curve Lake Road when officers stopped him as part of a R.I.D.E. check.
