Highlands East firefighters are looking to get a new truck for their fleet.
The municipality announced they have officially started taking tenders for a 2019 model four by four truck.
According to the notice published by the municipality, the truck needs to be an extended cab and a short box. Another requirement for submitting a tender is, the truck needs to be either a Ford F-250, a Dodge Ram 2500, or a Chevrolet 2500. As well the municipality notes that any tender will need to detail the weight of the truck, the type of engine, and the type of chassis.
The deadline to submit the tender is February 14th at 1:00pm and they need to be directed to Acting Fire Chief Chris Braughman in a sealed envelope. The address for the municipality and the tender form for personal download can be found by clicking here.
