A pair of firefighters is being recognized for their life-saving efforts.
Last week at the regular meeting of councilĀ in Minden Hills, two firefighters were honoured for resuscitatingĀ someone during a call at the beginningĀ of the month.
According to the newspaper the Minden Times, Fire Chief Mike Bekking and firefighter Cody Withey were presented with a lightning bolt pin. The Times says that lightning bolt pins are given to first responders who manage to resuscitateĀ a patient with no vital signs.
Deputy Mayor Lisa Schell was the one to present the pin to the Minden firefighters.
