In case it does not pop up on your calendar, tomorrow is National Cupcake Day.
From 9:00am to the 4:30pm the national day will be observed locally through the sale of these delectable treats at the Minden Animal Hospital. The money raised will be donated to the Muskoka OSPCA in Bracebridge.
The money goes towards important initiatives that provide life-saving work, provide care to animals in need and raise awareness about the various ways humans harm animals.
Over the past three years, the MAH has raised over $1000 through the selling of cupcakes.
If you can’t make it into the hospital you can also donate online through the National Cupcake Day website – and donate to Team “MAH Fur Pets.”
