Police are not confirming if the Canadian soldier is in the Ottawa Civic Hospital. They are confirming he is in hospital and cannot offer a confirmed update on his condition. Ottawa police say no arrests have been made. They do not have anyone in custody. One shooter is confirmed dead and there are unconfirmed reports that police are looking for possibly two other shooters. The RCMP is expected to be out with an update in the next 30 minutes.
The Sergeant at Arms, Kevin Vickers, is at the Ottawa police station giving a statement. Vickers was the man who allegedly shot the suspect who is confirmed dead. The shooter was shot inside the Centre Block earlier this morning. All members of government are being told to stay where they are on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Ottawa police say they are still searching for suspects.
