UPDATE: Snowmobiler airlifted to Toronto with non-life threatening injuries

Update: The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. confirmed the driver of the snowmobile was taken to Toronto in a helicopter.

According to the police, around 2:oopm yesterday, the snowmobile was travelling north on trail B103 near Lochlin Road when it collided with a car entering a private drive.

 

One person is in the hospital after a snowmobile collided with a car.

Dysart et al Fire Department were called to a crash at 5056 Gelert Road earlier today.

Details of the crash are unknown at this time, but firefighters on scene confirmed that a car and a snowmobile collided causing the snowmobile to catch on fire.

The snowmobile was a complete loss, and firefighters told MyHaliburtonNow.com that one person was taken to the hospital.
