Security is being stepped up at Ontario’s Legislature in the wake of today’s events on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair says there will also be increased security at consulate buildings and even on city transit. Meanwhile in Hamilton, flowers are piling up at the headquarters of the Regiment of the fallen Canadian soldier. The young reservist from Hamilton was shot this morning at the National War Memorial and later died in hospital.
