The leader of the NDP called today’s shooting on Parliament Hill a cowardly act aimed at attacking our values.  Tom Mulcair said today’s attack was aimed to make us fearful of our neighbours, less confident in ourselves but, they have failed and only made us stronger.  Mulcair said 35-million Canadians at home and abroad are unified in grief but we not be shaken and tomorrow we will wake up and stand together, perservere and prevail.

Reports have just come in saying the lockdown on Parliament Hill has ended.
