Volunteerism is being recognized by the township of Minden Hills.
The township announced last week that it is hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Reception on Saturday.
According to town officials, there are over 100 volunteers “who dedicate their time effort, and energy into making our community a better place.”
Without volunteers, the township says there would be no parades, live music, festivals, movie nights, educational workshops and more.
If anyone is looking to join in the celebration of volunteers, they can do so by RSVP-ing emailing [email protected]
The event is supposed to feature snacks, activities and “opportunities to become more involved in the community we call home.”
If you are going to RSVP you need to do so by the end of tomorrow.
