RCMP finds no link between Parliament Hill shootings and Montreal hit and run

The RCMP is announcing they have found no link between the shootings at Parliament Hill and the tragic hit and run earlier this week in Montreal.  RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson is confirming Michael Zehaf-Bibeau acted alone and there are no other suspects.  Paulson says Zehaf-Bibeau was not one of the 90 high-risk travellers on the RCMP watch-list.  He says the shooter may have had extremist views.  Zehaf-Bibeau has been in the Ottawa since October 2nd to deal with a passport issue.  He had plans to go to Syria.  Paulson says there is no longer an immediate threat to Canadians.  Increased security measures are in place as they investigation continues.
