The meteorological organization has issued a rainfall warning for Haliburton, Minden and southern Haliburton County, as well as Fort Irwin, Oxtongue Lake, and northern Haliburton County.
Residents are encouraged to stay indoors and avoid low-lying areas during heavy rainfalls. It is also recommended that you regularly check weather updates and watch for flooding.
