The Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization is in Haliburton today continuing their two day conference. Businesses across Ontario’s Highlands, including Haliburton County are hearing from guest speakers to help develop their tourism.
At yesterday’s annual general meeting, our Director of Tourism Amanda Ranson was given a spot on the board of directors for the next year. The annual report also showed good news for the Highlands, saying visitor spending was up by 160 million dollars.
