With the long weekend here, cottages aren’t the only thing opening up for the season.
Dysart et al announced this week that the information centre housed within a caboose in Haliburton Village will be opening its doors on Saturday.
The information centre will officially open at 8:00am on May 18th. Within the caboose is brochures and pamphlets for businesses and organizations across the county. But aside from the brochures, staff on the stationary train provide insight and information to the goings on with Haliburton and beyond.
