New tax relief measures from the Canadian government will mean a more affordable life for families in Haliburton County. Our MP Barry Devolin is getting behind the new measures which will see the universal child care benefit increase to 160 dollars per month for children under 6. It will also expand to include children ages 6 to 17 at 60 dollars per month. Families can claim the family tax cut when they file their 2014 tax returns.
