(Photo taken by Kenny Trenton, MyHaliburtonNow.com staff)MINDEN HILLS, ON- The cultural centre is in need of some staff.The Township of Minden Hills is looking for some “relief staff” to provide assistance to the centre’s curator.Whoever gets hired for the part-time position will need to work 24 hours a week with a pay of $14 an hour.According to staff, the position requires the relief staff to assist with the installation of exhibits, help with tours, filing archiving and digitizing collections.Some of the other tasks are special event planning, front desk duty, welcoming visitors and working with volunteers.Anyone that is going to apply, preferably needs to have two years of experience, experience in art history environmental studies or museum/gallery administration.
