County youth seek “nifty item” donations.

HALIBURTON, ON – The Haliburton County Youth Hub is trying to get nutritious food.

The wellness hub announced that the Rails End Gallery will be hosting the Annual Trash N’ Treasures on Saturday, June 15th.

According to the event organizers, all of the donations of “treasures” will help the youth hub purchase nutritious snacks and food for the hub.

Aside from food, the donations fund transportation, peer support programming and general programming.

To get the donations to the youth hub, they can be taken to Point in Time in Haliburton on Friday the 14th between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Or in Minden, there will be a trash and treasure trailer in the municipal parking lot.
