One of Haliburton County’s own, Jim Blake, will be receiving an award for his dedication and hard work in the community. In his nomination for the Brian L Desbiens award, people said he was passionate, engaged and extremely knowledgeable. Blake volunteers for seven different organizations in the community and he’ll receive the award at a recognition lunch on Tuesday November 11 at the Fleming College Peterborough campus.
