LINDSAY, ON – A mentorship focused organization is offering “Big Travel” as a way to benefit their programs.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton announced the launch of the Big Travel Raffle. The raffle features the grand prize of a trip for two anywhere that Westjet flies.
According to BBBS, “All the funds raised through this raffle will support local mentoring programs for children who can benefit from a friendship with a caring adult mentor.”
The organization explains that they are a part of the United Way but emphasizes that they rely heavily on the donations of others to remain sustainable.
To get involved with the raffle, you can purchase tickets from the BBBS office in Lindsay. Or from the various events they are expected to attend through the summer like Classics on Kent,
Bobcaygeon Farmers Market, Local Farmers Market, and the Woodville Festival.
