Three people are in hospital after a single vehicle rolled over on County Road 503 yesterday. Haliburton Highlands OPP, EMS and Minden Fire responded to the scene where the vehicle had gone into the ditch, hitting a steel culvert and small wooden log wall, causing it to roll over on the passenger side.
All three occupants were transported to the Minden hospital. The driver, a 46 year-old male was treated for minor injuries. The other two in the car, a 46 year-old female and 10 year-old girl were airlifted to Toronto hospitals with serious injuries.
The accident happened around 3:30 and the road was down to one lane for several hours, but has since been reopened. The investigation is still ongoing.
