GOODERHAM, ON – One person is dead after a head-on crash in Gooderham Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday, police officers and other first responders were dispatched around 12:40 pm to a crash on County Road 503 in Highlands East.

According to Media Relations Officer Amanda Gilbert, the one driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other driver was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The press release says that the two vehicles hit head-on.

Gilbert says that the O.P.P.’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are helping with the on-going investigation.
