Series of thefts in Norland and Minden Hills sparks call for help from the O.P.P.

MINDEN HILLS, ON – The police are asking for help to solve a number of thefts in the area.

According to City of Kawartha Lakes O.P.P., since the end of May, there have been eight thefts in Norland and Minden Hills.

The police say the stolen items include a truck, outboard motors, lawnmowers, laptop computers, and jewellery.

Police are asking community members to report any suspicious behaviour by calling the OPP’s Provincial Communication Center at 1-888-3100-1122 while the suspicious activity is going on.

As well, the police are asking that anyone with information on the thefts in either community call the O.P.P. at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca
