The Province of Ontario has handed out some infrastructure funding for communities across the province, and Haliburton County municipalities are some of the lucky recipients. Algonquin Highlands, Highlands East and Minden Hills are getting 25 thousand dollars each. Dysart will get 39 thousand and the county will have just over 65 thousand dollars to use. An agreement has to be signed with the province for what the money will be used for. Councilors will make that decision in the next few months.
