Wilberforce Food Bank expects numbers to increase for Christmas this year

The Wilberforce Food Bank is expecting their numbers to increase this year for the holiday season. Ken Mott is the coordinator and he says they offer their clients an extra box for Christmas. It’s usually filled with everything they might need to get them through the day like eggs and bacon, bread, vegetables, and a turkey or ham. Mott says based on the number of people they’ve seen this year, they’re expecting 75 to 85 people.

To have your donation go toward food for the holiday season, Mott is asking people to have it in by the beginning of December. The Wilberforce Food Bank is one of the locations that will benefit from the Radiothon on December 11 and 12. Listen to Moose FM on both days from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to hear how you can donate.
