Applications are open for the Kawartha-Haliburton Renovates program. It’s a program that helps low-income homeowners who need repairs, energy efficient upgrades, or accessibility modifications. You could get up to ten thousand dollars in a forgivable loan, or a grant for up to five thousand. Funding for the program is limited, so people who are eligible to apply will be considered based on priority.
You must own your own home, have a gross household income at or below $72,000 and the market value of your home must be at or below $269,925.
