Some grant money from Ontario’s Highlands Tourism Organization could bring more people to Highlands East. That’s what council is aiming for with the approval to move ahead with the grant application. The money would be used to get mineral sites in the area up and running. With more enhanced sites, it would help to bring more tourism to the municipality.
