DYSART ET AL, ON – A woman is in hospital in Toronto with serious injuries following an ATV crash in Dysart et al.
Haliburton Highlands OPP was called in with other emergency crews last night just after 6:00pm on Highland Street.
The woman was riding by herself when she lost control of the ATV, hit a tree and was thrown from the machine. The 31-year-old was transferred to Toronto to deal with her injuries.
The area of the crash was closed for several hours as a crash reconstruction team documented the scene and gathered evidence.
Haliburton Highlands OPP continues to investigate the incident.
