After years of saving, Algonquin Highlands can finally move forward with a new public works garage. Evergreen Energy Solutions is the company that’s putting it all together. A report to council yesterday showed the 600 to 700 thousand dollar project could be done by the end of next year, if they start the process in January. Council approved moving forward and using their 430 thousand dollars they have saved for the project, and will finance the rest from their reserves.
