Algonquin Highlands is teaming up with Yours Outdoors again to offer a Guided Snowshoe Hike Program. A grant from Sport for Life started the program in late January of this year, and it was a big success. Because more funding wasn’t up for grabs for next year, the Parks, Recreation and Trails manager asked council to fund the program. Council agreed the program was a success, so they voted to put forward just over one thousand dollars.
