Wilberforce Food Centres moves forward with $141,300 funding approved

The Wilberforce Food Centre has been approved for just over 141 thousand dollars. The funding is coming from the Ontario Trillium Foundation which Project Chair John Teljeur says will be enough to cover all the costs for building the centre. It will go up as an addition to the Lloyd Watson Centre in Wilberforce. The plans for the centre are a community kitchen and a hub for all food banks in the county. Public meetings will start in the new year, and construction is scheduled to start in the spring.
