Haliburton BIA is concerned too many people are crossing Highland Street where there isn’t a crosswalk. They put a request to council for a crosswalk in front of Baked and Battered. Staff suggested getting an assessment done to decide what traffic measure would work best in that spot. Council agreed and an engineer will be looking at vehicle and foot traffic at different times of the year to figure out what’s needed.
