News OPP investigate animal cruelty allegations SHARE ON: Nathan Shubert, staff Thursday, Jan. 30th, 2020 MINDEN, ON-Allegations have been laid for 14 neglected dogs. The Haliburton Highlands OPP were called out to a home on County Rd. 121 in the Township of Minden Hills last week to investigate possible allegations of animal cruelty. The allegations include ill-treatment and poor living conditions for 14 hunting dogs on the property. OPP investigators are working with Animal Welfare inspectors appointed by Provincial Animal Welfare Services who are currently working directly with the family to improve the health and well-being of the dogs.
