The Beer Store in Haliburton was closed for maintenance.
Beer Store employee Shannon Stinson says they did a “mold abatement precautionary”.
She says because of the dampness of the location, they scrape old spray foam from the ceiling, give it a wash, wash all of the walls and replace some of the ceiling tiles.
This was a precaution to make health and safety the number one priority. The Beer Stores in Minden and Coboconk remained open as well as the satellite stores in Carnarvon, West Guilford, and Eagle Lake.
The Haliburton store reopened February 28.
