NewsFuel for Warmth seeks donations to help people who won’t have heat this winter SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, 2014 With freezing temperatures across Haliburton County, Fuel for Warmth is asking you to think about the people who can’t afford heat this year. Organizer Joanne Barnes said families shouldn’t have to choose between food, partially paying bills to prevent disconnection or trying to buy fuel to keep their home warm enough to survive. Fuel for Warmth is asking for donations so they can continue to support people who can’t afford fuel. Barnes explains many seniors last year were simply staying in their beds to keep warm. You can mail your donation to Fuel for Warmth Inc., Box 313, Minden, ON K0M 2K0You can also call any one of these numbers and leave your name and contact information: 705-286-2990, 705-448-1914, 705-489-3324 Tags: Fuel for WarmthFuel for Warmth HaliburtonHaliburton County
