Ministry asks public’s help to identify hunters

An illegal hunting incident happened during the deer season, and the MNRF are looking for your help to find the people involved. It happened on November 20 when a deer was shot with a crossbow on private property on Coe Hill and taken by the hunters. They say at least two people were in the vehicle, which was at the intersection of Coral Post Road and The Ridge Road. The hunters didn’t have permission to shoot on the property, so the MNRF is asking anyone with information to come forward.

You can contact the MNRF TIPS line at 1-877-847-7667 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also call the Bancroft District enforcement unit during regular business hours at 613-332-3940.
