There are two confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Haliburton County.
The first patient, a 90 year old man, was brought to the Haliburton hospital via ambulance, with pneumonia and the coronavirus. The man was admitted to the hospital and placed in isolation. He has since been released and is recovering in self isolation at home.
The second case was confirmed on the weekend and the patient remains at home in self isolation.
Health Services have questioned both individuals about any contact they may have had in the community prior to diagnosis. All parties named have been contacted and are being tested.
