Haliburton Highlands OPP officers are in full force for the Festive R.I.D.E campaign happening right now. Over the past week, two charges and two suspensions were given out. They’re reminding drivers that you could be immediately suspended roadside if you register in the warning range of .05 to .08. Any amount of alcohol can impair your ability to drive, so they’re asking you not to risk it. The Festive R.I.D.E campaign launched on November 25 and stops are being conducted across Haliburton County until January 2.
