Minden Hills is lifting some restrictions at their Scotch Line Landfill.
Effective May 4, account holders will be able to tip construction and demolition waste.
Existing account holders must follow signs and wait in the designated area. They are asked to turn off their ignition and remain in their vehicle at all times.
Landfill staff will need to know the account holder information, the origin of the construction waste and confirmation there is no asbestos or hazardous wastes in the load.
Staff will be unable to issue a receipt, and the township is not accepting applications for new accounts at this time.
