The Ontario 55 plus winter games is making more announcements for the upcoming games. At an event yesterday, Chair of the committee Alan Clark said some women came to them asking for women’s hockey to be a part of the games. He says they tried to include them in the games themselves, but couldn’t go through the process fast enough. They agreed to have two days where four to six teams will play at the Minden arena before the official games start. Clark says this means another 60 to 100 athletes will be in the county which he says will be a nice economic boost to the community.
